Whitney Houston has combined for over 170 million worldwide sales for videos, singles and album during her illustrious career with Arista Records. It simply doesn’t matter whether you are a male or female recording artist these days, she’s one of THE singers to look up to as she’s set the bar for singing sensations to an extremely high level. She has influenced so many artists that it’s almost uncountable.
Here’s an interesting fact: She’s even been in The Guinness Book Of World Records as music’s “most awarded female artist of all time”
The first Christmas showcase from any artist tends to mark a special significance in their careers and Whitney’s One Wish – The Holiday Album certainly fits the bill. She keeps it real with a couple new renditions and some all-time classics as well.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas: Talk about a timeless classic!! To me this stretched her patiently. When you think about a Whitney song you think about that strong vibrant voice. Her rendition in this song was much softer and really blended well.
All these songs are from her One Wish – The Holiday Album. Featuring 11 songs in all, 2 of them her own. She’s even got one on here that she sings with her daughter (The Little Drummer Boy) which is good, just not one of my top songs.
